How it Works

Simple Setup With Effective Protection for Your Machine

Meet the new SafeOp Control Guard System, the solution to providing total and visible control for your fleet. The machine will be fitted with a SafeOp device that renders the machine dormant with the key switch bypassed…

Using the downloaded SafeOp APP, a user will simply scan the QR code on the machine [Or input the identification number]. The user will be asked for their username and password which is entered on the APP.

For the machine to fully operate, there are a number of security checks in place first. If the user name and password are valid and in date. If the user is acreddited to drive that type of forklift. If that user has sat on the seat first. When the user plugs the seatbelt in the machine will automatically turn on.

If the user does not have a valid licence or is trying to operate the wrong machine it simply will not turn on and an email will be sent to an address of choice. No fobs / cards or keypads. The machine is left as safe as it can be as the SafeOp device is buried in the loom.

Daily Management

Providing Protection Through Daily Machine Checks for Your Team

These can be bespoke to all businesses. For simple sites, a one off daily check may be sufficient, for multi shift and multi user sites, one thorough daily, and for the rest of the day simplified pre shift checks could suffice.

SafeOp will recognise that a daily check has been done when a new operator approaches the machine and will only require a pre shift check.

The SafeOp APP will also inform the user which machines have had the Daily check so that they can choose one of those machines, thus, only having to do a pre shift check. The checks are recorded on the SafeOp APP to give a clear audit trail.

If there are problems, breakdowns or damage it will be logged on the APP and email notifications sent to addresses of choice. This gives accountability and leads to best practise of driving, lowers damage costs as well as improving the safety surrounding your fleet.

Daily & Pre Shift Checks

How Is It All Set Up?

An Administrator will download the app and register their business details and who they wish to be managers with all relevant depots / sites or buildings. These managers will be emailed user name and passwords.

From then the designated persons can upload all machines to be using SafeOp as well as all drivers with their licence details and any other information the company wishes to capture.

SafeOp working in partnership with Westexe will then attend site and fit the SafeOp device, attach the QR codes and conduct familiarisation and tests with the site users.

Managers can add and remove both machines and users as well as depots and buildings.
